Camping

We went camping at Trinity Lakes this weekend. It was Keaton's first camping trip and he did wonderful. He loved being outside all of the time.

Good morning, what a cute little boy to be woken up by!
Daddy brought a REALLY big tarp to spread out so that Damion and Keaton could play. It worked perfect after the initial interest in the dirt beyond wore off.

Toilet Paper!!!

I was just saying the other day how Keaton had not really been in the bathroom or messed with the toilet paper.... I spoke to soon.

My favorite thing to do in the tub is play with the other little boy. I laugh at him and give him goofy faces and even some kisses! No toys are required for entertainment these days!

9 Month Stats

We finally had his 9 Month doctor appointment and he is 29 1/4 inches long which is 90% and 22 pounds and 7 oz which is 80%! He is doing great and eating lots of just about anything we give him. Currently chicken nuggets is a favorite!!

Good Morning!

Keaton has always been really good about playing in his crib until I can get him. So now when he gets so that he wants out he will stand up and make all sorts of noise until I get in there!

This is now what we get instead of a normal smile! Good thing we think it is cute!

My first Rodeo

Nana and Papa took me and Mommy and Daddy to the Stampede last night! Nana insisted that I have a cowboy outfit so Mommy and Daddy found me this shirt!

When I started to get a little bored I got to play with the ice! I got all wet but it kept me busy for awhile.

What a little goon... he was being a clown and making all his funny faces for Mom.

I discovered how to shut the door into the study then I can stand up and play peekaboo with anyone in the living room.
Together we can figure this out.

Keaton has always loved pickles so we decided to give him a whole one to see what he would do...

Needless to say he loved it and ate half of it all by himself!
We then finished up with lots of kisses to go around.

R&R

We spent the day at home today just resting up.

Keaton is crawling really fast now. Sometimes his feet go faster than his hands though and he takes a nose dive.

I really want to stand and walk around things so I am practicing my balance. I can get up on my knees and sometimes stand up.

Our wonderful weekend

We all went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for some healing time and to help prepare for Auntie Dawnita's funeral. It was wonderful and difficult at the same time. The service was beautiful and just perfect. Now that we are home we are just trying to get some rest to get through the emotional part. Keaton doesn't understand what is going on but he was a wonderful distraction and help. He knows just when hugs are needed.
