Our Little One

I didn’t give you the gift of life, but in my heart I know.
The love I feel is deep and real, as if it had been so.
For us to have each other is like a dream come true!
No, I didn’t give you the gift of life, life gave me the gift of you.

Big Island

And we have arrived at the Big Island!! It is beautiful with perfect weather and great beaches!
Oooo, Look at our view!
Meeting my cousin (actually Mommy's cousin) Daylin who is 10 days younger than me! We were so excited to see someone our own size.

Papa found me a dried crab to touch.
Looking at the little fish in the tide pools.

Playing on the beach... my favorite!

I discovered how much fun a bucket can be on the beach. I still insist on using the wrong side of the shovel so it just takes me twice as long to get anything INTO the bucket!
Daddy went snorkeling with everyone else and took this very pretty picture.
Daylin and I were playing with the bucket.

Nana throwing me really high in the air! It made me laugh so hard that it caught Mommy's attention way up on shore!
My first snorkeling adventure. On Papa... he gave me a (sea)horse ride!

This beach was amazing, we may have to come back to do our family photos here.
Attempting to climb up to get some coconuts!

Relaxation

We had a relaxing day today. We started out by going to a couple of waterfalls this morning and ended up by sitting/playing in the pool and at the beach. Now we are headed to meeting!

Look!
My first time in a tree.... next time I will wear shoes to do this.
Walking to the beach. What a big boy we have.
This is the beach right in front of our condo! Today was beautiful, 80 and sunny, Perfect!
After I wore myself out I liked to just sit and let the waves wash over me.
I am almost wearing so much sand that I am camouflaged!
I am getting better at walking in the water, I discovered today that I just can't stop walking or I get buried. Sometimes it was still just easier to crawl where the sand was really soft. Mommy got a kick out of the tracks that I left behind!
Cute little footprints.
Watch out for this beached whale!
Tomorrow we are off to the Big Island to join all of the family!
Also, the last couple of days Keaton has really started jabbering all the time and trying to say things. Today he would say "dow" for down and then sign please, when he wanted to walk. We will see if he keeps saying it. Today he also learned where his belly button is. He will lift up his shirt and grin and poke it! He also likes to look for Daddy's and Mommy's belly button when asked!

South Kauai

We went along the South shore today and up to see Waimea Canyon. It was spectacular.

Sharing some Hawaii Shave Ice... definitely not just a snow cone. They were REALLY good.
After a morning cooped up in the car Keaton was so ready to get out and play. So we put him in his suit and set him free to play in the sand and ocean. He had problems walking because every time a wave would come it would bury his feet so he crawled when he was close to the water.

He could really move on the sand that was packed!
He then decided to take a huge bite of sand!!!! Yuck!

Whoa the wave got him this time. He didn't even mind.... didn't slow down one bit.

He wore himself out in a short amount of time!
We went to Glass beach on the way back to the condo. The entire beach is made up of little pieces of polished glass. It was quite the sight, very interesting.

I keep meaning to take a photo of Keaton's little feet. He ALWAYS crosses them just like this.

North Shore, Kauai

We drove up the East side of the Island today to end up at the North Shore.
Keaton was napping in the car so we got a photo of just us.

It was windy as usual today and the water was a little chilly.... Keaton did not mind at all.

Playing the water with Daddy.

In St John Keaton didn't really care for the sand but this time it was lots more fun. It doesn't even taste that bad much to Mommy and Daddy's dismay!
Trying to figure out this shovel, Mommy made it look so easy.
Throwing shells!
Trying to warm up after we got out of the water.
This is where the naps take place these days.

I love my Daddy. On his shoulders I like to remind him that I love him by giving him a big hug! Mom and Dad taught me how to sign " I Love You " so now I am really big on showing it!
Hmmm maybe this will work for a nap!?!?
This is a look at the North Shore.
My boys...
