Our Little One

I didn’t give you the gift of life, but in my heart I know.
The love I feel is deep and real, as if it had been so.
For us to have each other is like a dream come true!
No, I didn’t give you the gift of life, life gave me the gift of you.

Playin' in the snow

We all went over to Grandpa and Grandma's house on New Years to hang out and play in the snow! This was my first bundled up experience. I couldn't walk or move really in my snow pants and coat but I still enjoyed it. Nana found a little sled from when Mommy was little and she gave it to us to use and it worked perfect. Daddy pulled me around on the frozen pond for a while and then I sledded down Grandma's flower beds!

Daddy counted to three and pushed me down the little hill! The anticipation was great!

I couldn't figure out how to work my gloves and I REALLY wanted a little stick that I saw so Mommy just put it in my mouth!
Me and my Mommy and Daddy!
Trying out an icicle!
I didn't last very long because it was REALLY cold but I did have fun.
On a side note, while in Hawaii Keaton jumped a shoe size and grew 2 inches and 1 pound... which explains the big appetite! We weighed him before we left and then had to compare when we got back because he seemed so much bigger. He is 25 pounds and 32 inches long!

Last Few Days

Home again, home again! We are finally catching up on sleep and recovering from our long trip back! It was quite a shock to the system to leave 85 degree weather at 10 pm on Thursday and arrive home to 4 inches of snow, a blizzard and 28 degrees at 10 am on Friday!
This is looking back over the last few days that we had in Hawaii.
Wednesday was a busy day that started out with a Lei making class! We got to pick all of our own flowers and then put them together.
On Wednesday afternoon we went whale watching and got to see both Spinner Dolphins and Bottlenose Dolphins as well as Humpback Whales! It was amazing!
Spinner Dolphins up close.
Taking a swim!
Our last look at the whales before we had to head back!
Keaton loves to brush his teeth and he will even ask to do it (he learned the sign) and then cry when he has to be done! On Thursday he was brushing his teeth while watching cartoons while Mommy and Daddy got packed up. We had lunch overlooking the ocean. Keaton had a blast running around on the grass getting rid of some energy.

Looking cool in Daddy's glasses.
Hawaiian graffiti. You will see coral messages lining the roads on the Big Island. We made one of our own. Keaton had to show us all of the rocks!
We hiked into a black sand beach for our last beach before we had to leave. We had the beach to ourselves and it was without a doubt Keaton's favorite. There were little rocks all over that he had fun throwing in the ocean.

Picking up a little rock. This kept him busy for the entire couple hours we were there.

We will leave you with this....
... after getting all of the sand out of his shorts finally Keaton was ready to head home!!

Family Photos

Here is the whole crew!
The sunset was perfect that night.

We head home tomorrow night REALLY late! It has been a wonderful trip.

Christmas

We all got together for dinner and a gift exchange. Daylin and I are having lots of fun.
The shared pacifiers, toys, hugs and even a few kisses!
Swimming with Daddy.

Mommy came into our room to find Daddy and Keaton playing under the sheets in their "fort."

Snorkeling

We have done quite a bit of snorkeling/sunbathing!
My great-grandma watched me while Mommy and Daddy Kayaked to a snorkeling spot. They saw dolphins and Daddy got to swim with them! It was amazing.
Little Puffer fish.

A Shower just my size!
