This past year….
Damion’s mom posted a little video of him growing up last week and I had to copy that idea. In putting it together it has really made me think back again over these last 12 months. Although we hadn’t seen or held Keaton yet one year ago he began his life here. He was born into our hearts from the first moment we heard about him. We are daily thankful for all those who thought of us when they heard about Keaton. We are at a loss for words when we think of his birthmother. It brings tears to our eyes to think of the love that she had for him and the sacrifice that she was willing to make so that he could have us. We can’t imagine life without Keaton; he has made us into a family. We know that his birth family is reading this and we just want you to know how grateful we are that you love your great-grandson, grandson, nephew and cousin so much. You will always have a special place in our lives and hearts and we hope to instill that same feeling within Keaton.
Keaton has given us so much to look forward to over the past year. He is a delight to be with, his sense of humor and personality make parenting a joy. We are so thankful to have him as a son. We love you, bugabear.
